  During a recent outing I spent hundreds of dollars at the Bolingbrook store, but received no assistance. I bought an ice fishing shelter, a sled, and a few lures. A few associates walked by me during my trip (while milling about the area with the shelters for over 10 minutes). I had a hard time taking it to the cash register, and even dropped the sled - but no one bothered to check to see if I needed help. Retailers need to provide exceptional service to compete with the convenience of online stores. This is an example where BassPro completely failed in delivering a good shopping experience - let alone a mediocre one.

  This place is our home away from home. The associates know us by name now. They are all so friendly and helpful. We buy a ton of tackle from here and the prices are reasonable for such a large chain. We enjoy getting the coffee here. And the fudge is super fresh always. Plus we visit Santa every year.

  I have been to this store many times. My last visit I went with three children, from my in home childcare, and my mother. We went to the holiday land that they have set up for the season. I believe it is wonderful. Many things for children to do such as visit with Santa, ride a Merry go round, play games, block table and etc. The children loved it. Not only was the picture with Santa free but it came with a wonderful wooden frame. My Mom and I love the fudge shop and the candles. The employee, Lisa, in the ladies department was super helpful and friendly. Thanks Lisa for making our visit a great one! We did some Christmas shopping while we were there and enjoyed our visit.
